Vermeil, large bouquet brooch with two stylized flowers and two buds made by Coro company.
Bouquet has four plain wire stems, bending gently and tied with an open bow and two wide ribbon ends with curled tips.
Two stems have rather leafy looking, folding upward flowers with serrated, wavy edges. Snuggled inside are oval, garnet red, faceted glass stones.
Two lower stems have just oval glass, in open-backed low frames.
Glass has a deep, dark red color, is prong set and nicely faceted with large table tops (slightly uneven in sizes).
Brooch has single rivet attaching the bow and (what looks like) hand soldered flowers.
Gold gilded, brooch is high quality stamped STERLING and Coro in script. Coro was producing this style of brooches in 1940's.
Brooch weights 26.02 grams and it is in a good condition with one of the prongs broken off at the frame level. Some minute wear scratches on finish.
