This charming vintage 1950s sundress features a very full drop waist skirt, ruched shoulders, and a shelf bust accented with piping underneath. It's made from cotton with a fun yellow print, and it comes with an overlapping V-shaped neckline. Please note that this dress has a particularly long waist, high quality and the bust line is set high due to the shelf bust structure. The hemline falls to about the upper calf, and the dress closes with a metal zipper on the side.
Condition: This dress is in generally great condition except for a hole at the bottom of the zipper and a small pinhole in the bust as well as a couple in the shoulder area (see last photo). Neither of these are particularly noticeable when worn since they easily blend into the pattern and folds of the fabric. The fabric in the bust and shoulders feels a little bit more worn/thin, but the skirt is in very sturdy shape. The lining on the inside of the dress along the neckline is lightly patched in a few areas, but this is not visible from the outside.
