A really beautiful and fine high quality quality original oil on canvas depicting an elegant society lady seated in her 19th century boudoir enjoying the scent of a rose. I can't see a signature but it is a superbly executed painting with astonishing detail and wonderful use of colour. Very similar to the work of french artist Delphin Enjolras (1857-1945) although this is a more recent painting. Excellent condition Size approximately 31 cm x 41 cm unframed.
