Vintage HB Quimper France Les Plats Du Chef Oval Covered Casserole
Beautiful Les Plats Du Chef Quimper 1.5 quart oval covered casserole dish. This piece depicts high quality a Breton man in traditional blue, red, and yellow costume. He is walking in the countryside holding a walking stick or fishing pole. Also adorning this piece are lovely vibrant blue and red flowers with green leaves between them. It was created somewhere between 1968-1984. Item measures 9 1/4 in L x 6 3/4 in W x 5 3/4 in H (with lid) or 4” H (without lid). Rims, handles, and top handle are sponged blue. On the inside lip of the lid is a hairline tiny split. The inside of the dish has some crazing. See photos for details. This piece is in beautiful condition, especially considering its age.
