Small Antique French Triptych - Catholic Travel high quality Shrine - Religious Reliquary - Small French Prayer Shrine

A small antique mantel shrine from France, beginning 20th century. This lovely little triptych is almost a private little tabernacle of goodness in all humility. The central backing is a faded gold felt with golden silk hinge covers. There is a tiny INRI banner above the statue's head but no other inscriptions on either the cross or the triptych.

Please note that the left door is faulty and has suffered an attempted superficial repair by the previous owner.

CONDITION :
Good antique with imperfections : the left door hinge is virtually worn through and has had a piece of cello-tape put in place by the previous owner (I have not wanted to remove this for the moment). There is wear to the leather in places, commensurate with age and material, a dark stain on the back of the triptych and due to the hinge wear the doors and clasp need a little encouraging to clasp shut.
