Our process: Wood is grain popped and sanded, wood is grain filled, wood is cut, sawtooth hangars screwed to back for hanging, wood is primed & edges are sealed, primer is sanded, 8-10 coats high quality of spray paint applied with light sanding in-between if needed, a 2-part industrial urethane is used to join the layers. We highly recommend satin finish for the backing color and gloss for the lettering color.
