Banner Finger Hold Oil Lamp/Lantern/Burner P & A Mfg Co #15 high quality NWOT Clear-Glass and Brass Vintage/Antique Victorian 1800s

This is a vintage/antique, Victorian 1800s, never-been-used, small, clear-glass & brass, finger-hold, working, oil lamp (without shade) made by BURNER. It is also marked “P & A Mfg Co.” USA Waterbury Conn on the brass turn knob. There is an original, paper label with the #15 on the side of the glass. It is a small, oil lamp measuring approximately 4.25 inches in diameter by 5 inches in height to the top of the brass mount. The lamp consists of a pressed, clear-glass base with finger-hold & embossed star design on the bottom, a 1 inch brass screw cap permanently affixed to the glass, a 2 inch cone-shape brass-mount top which screws into the brass top of the lantern, a working adjustable knob, and an original cloth wick. There are 4 brass prongs to hold a glass, hurricane shade which is missing and not included. I would imagine an high quality antique shade would not be too difficult to find and if not they still make new ones that would fit. This beauty is in excellent, never-used condition with the only flaw of discoloration and spotting on the brass top marked Banner. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is NOT returnable.
