This ceramics bowl is hand built from white clay, red glazed
and reduces. fired at 1030 Degree, Raku kiln.

How I make Raku Ceramics?

I made this pot on the potter's wheel, I first fired bisque and next I fired it at 1030 degree in the raku kiln. During this process, I took out hots ceramics from the kiln and reduce in sawdust at high quality this moment the white ceramics went black and the glaze changed colors. It is always the biggest surprise. In this one was only clay has reduced (on black color ceramics). The red color of the glaze didn't change but craquelure appeared on the red glaze.



Measurements: 4.0 cm tall, +- 19.5 cm diameter.

This pottery is for serving small snacks, fruits on a coffee table.
