Antique Burmese Cast Bronze "Rooster" Opium Weight from Mandalay, Burma. These unique and hard to find cast bronze weights were used for decades to weigh opium and other various high value items. Over the years these weights have been harder and harder to find. On my last trip to Burma I was able to collect these pieces and that are in good condition and that have great patina for their age.

Shipping:

All items are shipped Thailand Registered Air Mail with a tracking number if not otherwise specified. Each piece will be packed and will be sent to the shipping address provided by the customer. Once your shipment arrives it will require a person to sign and accept the delivery. If no one is available at the time of delivery the Postal Service on the receiving side will leave a notice and you may have to pick up the package at your nearest location.

Normal Shipping Times:

Asia: around 2 weeks
Europe: 3 to 4 weeks
America: 3 to 4 weeks

Expedited shipping via International Express Mail Service (EMS) is available for an additional charge. Shipping time for EMS is usually up to 5 to 7 days for most locations. If you would like expedited shipping please message me first and I will send the additional price by message before you make a purchase.
