Vintage Hinode Japan, Moriage Ewer pitchers with tray, very RARE, Variant, vibrant Gaudy Blue Willow - FLAWLESS CONDITION! Set of 2!

This is a rare, colorful set. It has the blue willow pattern with high relief decoration of a pagoda, trees and birds over a blue background.
Perfect companion to my other listing of 9 demitasse cups and saucers. Would be perfect with cream and sugar.

FLAWLESS CONDITION - No chips or cracks as shown in photos.
It is marked: Hinode, Japan on the bottom.

The pitchers measure 4 1/2" the tray is 10", trimmed in gold

Note: Moriage is a special type of raised decoration used on some Japanese pottery. Sometimes pieces of clay were shaped by hand and applied to the item; sometimes the clay was squeezed from a tube in the way we apply cake frosting. One type of moriage is called Dragonware by collectors.
