Based on the cartoons of the Italian cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli, also known by his pseudonym Cava.
His best-known work is his series of short cartoons, La Linea. Often attributed to Keith Haring, he is a classic cartoon character of Osvaldo Cavandoli (Cava).

Between 1936 and 1940 Cavandoli worked as a technical designer for Alfa Romeo. At the age of 23, he entered animation and worked in the Pagot studios. Between 1950 and 1958 he was an independent producer and director of puppet films. It wasn't until 1969 that Cavandoli created the character that would make him world famous: La Linea.

This funny character has appeared in a large number of Lagostina commercials and later in independent films, which were broadcast in more than 40 countries and awarded many times.

Cavandoli made a comic version of his character for Il Giornalino in 1974. 'La Linea' reappeared on Italian television in 1997. In 2001, Cavandoli made a series of 20 films with his character for Universal Studios in the US.

This lamp can be placed or hung. Operation on 4 AA batteries and can also be connected to an adapter (both are not included).
