High quality Sterling Silver Historic Eagle Desk Memorial to a British Author & advisor to the Queen.

Reverend David Fleming 1830 – 1920.
This Custom Made Memorial Eagle Sculpture was made for a friend that presented it to
Canon Fleming that wrote and researched a scholarly work of the history of British Martyrs from the Roman Occupation to Elizabeth's Reign.
He was a trusted friend and confident to the Queen of England.

The eagle is Sterling Silver and it is setting on a marble base.
The maker did a beautiful job sculpting the form of the eagle with great detail and
a noble pose.
There is a small chip in the marble at the eagles base toward the left rear
of the eagle. There is the makers seal high quality marks on the plaque.

It is 3" wide, 4 " deep and 4 1/2" tall.
