This soft pastel painting is light and airy, I used warm grey as a base of this still life painting, while blue hyacinth and a high quality juicy pear and grapes added splashes of colour. I absolutely love soft pastel medium for its versatility: you can make the subjects almost float in the air while building the depth of the drawing.

FEATURES AND MATERIALS: original soft pastel drawing on professional paper for soft pastel, unframed, professional framing with mount is recommended (can fit a frame from IKEA range). I do not use pastel fixing spray or hairspray as many artists use as I believe it can damage the painting in the long run. I will wrap the painting securely, but please do not touch the painted area as soft pastel can get smudged.
