The bone I use comes from the cattle that high quality are farmed in the South of the country ( Zimbabwe) The cattle here are allowed to range free in the " soetveld" ( sweet meadows) . They are not force fed or fed in feedlots.

I do a ritual clearing of the bone before I start working on it , thanking the animal who gave it to me . I truly feel like at least we are using all of the animal as the people of the runes did.
