Here is a high quality classic French work pant, dating to the 1940s. They are made of a stiff and sturdy fabric, and are the most wonderful striped gray pattern. They have a button up fly, as well as suspender buttons around the waistband. There is also a cincher in the back of the waist. These pants have some amazing hand mends...I just love to think about the care and time taken to preserve clothes like these. These pants are in good shape for wear or could work well as inspiration! Fabulous for costume as well!


MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures approximately:

Waist: 44 inches
Hip: 48 inches
Inseam: 25 inches
Length: 39 inches

CONDITION : These pants are in as found, not freshly laundered condition. As stated above, these pants have been well worn and loved! There are mends, signs of wear, and some small holes on these pants. They are still perfectly wearable, but with a touch of time and use often inherent in these wonderful garments.
