This quilt is a one of a kind, hand made in the USA quilt. It is made using 100% cotton fabric that I pre-wash to secure color fastness and prevent shrink.
I use 1005 cotton batting. This give the quilt that old cuddly quilt feel and it will never pill.
This quilt is machine pieced and quilted using silk wrapped cotton thread.
It is 30 1/2 wide by 40 long. Works well in the cradle and crib. Also great for play time on the floor.
machine wash warm on the gentle cycle. I use All Free and Clear.
Tumble dry on medium heat.
I've been quilting for 40 years. Since moving to the farm, I mostly make baby quilts. This gives the opportunity to try more patterns and a wider range of fabrics. So many fabrics and so little time. I make quilts high quality and hoe made sheep milk soap in the Winter, to sell at Farmers Markets in the Summer.
