PURE art nouveau box, labelled "Steinnuss-Hosenknöpfe" which translates as Tagua Nut trouser buttons.

The material is called corozo or corosso when used in buttons.
The box contains 137 buttons in two sizes, see photos please.
The larger one is 1.8 cm, 0.70" in diameter.
The smaller button is 1.5 cm, 0.59"
