high quality This is a HUGE piece of glass. I have never come across another one in this size / shape. It is absolutely spectacular if you appreciate the art of Empoli Glass.
A very vibrant green optic pattern in the vase portion, this glass dances in light. The clear twisted stem on the pedestal vase is noteworthy just in itself.
The vase / goblet measures approximately 14 1/4" at it's highest point on the wavy rim, and the base foot diameter is a little over 5".
No chips / cracks. Some minor bubbles / flea bites on the one side of the vase, shown in the pictures. This is typical for glass of this era and was part of the manufacturing process.
I don't expect this one to last long,- Empoli pieces are in high demand, and this is a size and shape that you don't see very often!! Get it while it lasts!!!
