Very unique rustic child portrait, I really love the green eyes as well, the most rare eye color on earth. The original Afghan girl from National Geographic had green color eyes as well with was part of the big reason she stood out so much. This drawing very ethnic and diverse and I love the expression on her face with the red violet cloth draped all around her. high quality I was going for a more youthful Afghan girl look, a very unique piece of original artwork.


The drawing is 17" by 14" and was made completely with colored pencils on 400 series Strathmore acid free drawing paper. This is the one and only version of this piece, no copies or reproductions will ever be made of it.


Reflected in the price of the drawing is the time it took to create as well as past pieces that have been sold. With shipping, the drawing will not be rolled up into a tube. Since it is the original artwork, I will put it in a plastic frame and ship it flat in a flat box, thus the potential oversized charge on the packaged which explains the shipping price.
