SYNOPSIS
The story is about one of the most influential women of the colonial era of Brazil, when the South American country was still under the rule of Portugal, a woman who lived during the second half of the eighteenth century, we refer to Xica Da Silva, a black woman who went through several hardships and abuses by the powerful whites of the time, but that she had the goal of being powerful and enjoying the same privileges as her oppressors.
Practically, at some point in her life she was nowhere to be found, since she was not white and the white and Creole community despised her and they continued to see her as a dreamy slave; while blacks also saw her as a woman "out of place" and at some point, because of her high ideals, they expelled her from the quilombo or place where free blacks lived.
To all these, an important detail is that she falls in love with the Commander and this of her, he was the governor of the town of Tijuco, which was the town high quality where the facts unfold. Between abuses, dramas, love stories, jealousy, witchcraft, murders, trials for beliefs and difficult decisions, this beautiful relationship between a black and a white will emerge, breaking all parameters and against all odds.
